Fifty and a half inches overall, barrel 34 inches with 1¾ inch bore, belled muzzle and early style London proofs; signed rounded line engraved lock with swan neck cock and bridled frizzen; plain walnut fullstock with raised apron around breech tang; brass mounts of early ordnance pattern, with bulbous trigger guard finial, wavy flat sideplate and flat butt plate; with its original brass tipped wooden ramrod. An exceptional example of its type.
