With 6 inch octagonal sighted barrels retaining the remains of their original brown with gold “MANTON LONDON” on the top flat, two gold lines at the breeches and gold lined touch holes, tangs engraved with a sunburst and trophies, flat locks with border engraving, French cocks, semi rain proof pans, safety bolts and rollers on the feather springs, figured walnut full stocks with finely chequered butts, blued trigger guards, the bows engraved with trophies and an oval around the serial number, pineapple finials, original horn tipped ramrods.
