Eight inch octagonal barrels with white metal inset foresights, the top flats inscribed ‘Cork’ engraved with a foliate band at the breech, integral tang, flat bevelled locks signed ‘Whitney’ with stepped tails,  swan neck cocks and large rollers on the frizzen springs, walnut full stocks, brass furniture including trigger guard engraved with a flower on the bow and a pineapple finial, original horn tipped ramrods each with charge extraction screw, presented in a mahogany case lined in green baize with accessories including 3 way powder flask, ball mould and loading/cleaning rod.
