Each pistol with blued three stage 9½ inch barrel banded at the intersections, the second stage with lateral gilded flame-tongues, the first section with gilded arabesque panels and band at the hooked breech, the top-flat signed ‘LONDON’, Birmingham proof mark and a maker’s mark stamped to the left hand side, small applied fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the engraved tang also decorated with a gilded arabesque band, slightly curved flat bevel-edged lockplate with stepped tail with traces of colour, the bevel edge with gilded border, the signature ‘E. BOND’ within a gold inlayed marshall trophy beneath the pan, gilded sunbursts around the tail and side nail, sliding safety catch behind the engraved cock, roller frizzen, gilded pan and touch-hole, walnut full stock profusely inlayed with silver wire scrolls and cornucopias, silver engraved marshall trophy to wrist, gilded brass rococo escutcheon engraved with a tiger’s head ‘proper’ above a wreath with a crescent above and crossed cannons beneath, long-spurred gilded brass engraved and embossed butt-cap, gilded carved trophy side-plate, gilded and engraved double rolled-edge trigger-guard with trophy finial, silver inlayed star-bursts to rear of butt and underside of fore-end, two take-down wedges with engraved silver oval escutcheons, gilded ramrod pipes and original ramrod.
