With rebrowned 30 inch sighted barrels re- engraved in script on the top rib “John Manton & Son Dover Street”, engraved recessed breech with two platinum lines and platinum touch holes, finely engraved tang, signed locks with engraved foliage and trophies, the bevelled edges engraved with acanthus leaves, V shaped patent self priming pans and roller frizzens, figured half stock with padded leather cheek piece, chequered (worn)wrist, vacant escutcheon, engraved (worn) iron mounts including butt plate and trigger guard with pineapple finial, brass mounted ramrod. London proof marks.

Note: Although a little worn this gun is in very good working order having been professionally refurbished. The internal bores are excellent; minimum wall thickness right 0.025, left 0.032. Length of pull 14 inches, weight 6lbs 3oz.
