With 12 inch barrel and plain tang, border engraved flat bevelled lock with ‘GR’ crowned, ‘Tower’ across the tail, and struck with crowned broad arrow mark below the pan, ring-neck cock, walnut full stock with apron around the barrel tang, inspector’s marks including those in the ramrod channel, indistinct dated Board of Ordnance stamp and initials IG on the side flat, regulation brass mounts, steel belt hook, and brass-tipped ramrod with iron worm, King’s proof marks.
